Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The assistant professor will be responsible for teaching classes in Political Science and conducting research in his/her area of specialization; performing such services as necessary to enhance the activities of the department, the college, and the university. The teaching load will be a standard two courses per semester (2/2) with other responsibilities including department, college, and university service functions as well as working with doctoral candidates which will include performing such services as necessary to enhance the activities of the department, the college, and the university.
Ph.D. in political science with emphasis in International Relations and Security Studies. ABD status will be considered but must possess a Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
