Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This associate will perform duties associated with the Corn Verification Program. The Corn Verification Program is a state-wide on-farm outreach program that seeks to identify limitations and integrate and demonstrate research and technology into better, more profitable corn production systems.
Bachelor of Science with an agricultural science emphasis (crop science, soil science, weed science, entomology, plant pathology, etc...).
Background in production agriculture, crops, soils, and pest management. Two years minimum of field-related experience with row crop production is required.
Master's Degree with an agricultural science emphasis (crop science, soil science, weed science, entomology, plant pathology). Experience with corn production.
Contingent upon continued availability of funding.
