Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: (1) development of a nationally- and internationally-recognized research program., (2) providing high-quality undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and make significant contributions to the development and growth of our undergraduate majors, (3) advising of undergraduate students, (4) direction of graduate student theses, (5) development of interdisciplinary relationships with scientists in other departments, and (6) securing external research grants and contracts.
PhD in Applied/Agricultural Economics or Economics, with strong quantitative skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required. The successful candidate must be able to develop a nationally and internationally-recognized research program as evidenced by scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals. A willingness and ability to make significant contributions to interdisciplinary research efforts is also preferred.
