Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate level courses in clinical exercise physiology; utilize online learning resources in the classroom; advise students; supervise interns; collaborate with local clinical settings; provide service to the Division of Education, the University, and the profession; seek external funding to support teaching and service activities; perform other duties as assigned that support the mission of the Division and the University.
Instructor level - Master's degree in Kinesiology, with emphasis in clinical exercise physiology or closely related field.
Assistant Clinical Professor or Associate Clinical Professor level - Doctorate in Clinical Exercise Physiology or closely related field.
Level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
ABDs or degree pending considered (all but DISS):
Evidence of high-quality university level teaching; experience with online learning formats; ability to teach courses in both Clinical Exercise Physiology and Anatomical Kinesiology; successful record of securing external funds to support activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in Exercise Science; knowledge, skill and ability to advise undergraduate students and contribute to the service within the Division and University; skill in teaching; ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
