| The Business Manager (BM) reports directly to the Assistant Director of Business Operations and is responsible for providing management and accountability that supports the mission of the Research and Curriculum Unit (RCU) in the area of business management. The BM should be a motivated individual who will help to manage the day-to-day business functions of the RCU. The BM will serve as a member of the Management Team and will contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and practices. This person must know how to handle problems quickly, efficiently and have great communication skills. |

| Manage a variety of activities, projects, grants, and requests for services from external clients and customers, as well as internal Mississippi State University (MSU) and Research and Curriculum Unit (RCU) related projects. The Marketing and Communications Manager will help plan and implement projects. This position coordinates marketing and communications activities for the Research and Curriculum Unit (RCU). Manages and coordinates production, and supervises staff of editors, graphic designers, and photographers. |
