This position is a 100% Extension appointment in the Department of Poultry Science and will be filled as a 12-month non-tenure-track faculty position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to provide applied, impact-driven information and support to the broiler and layer industries in the state of Mississippi. The individual is expected to develop a dynamic outreach program to aid the industry in gaining applied research knowledge to expand and improve their industry. The candidate will serve to desiminiate information and research collected at Mississippi State University to industry professionals as well as backyard enthusiasts.
M.S. in poultry science
ABDs or degree pending considered (all but DISS):
Strong background in Poultry Science research and outreach, as well as practical knowledge and/or experience in the industry.
