The Mississippi State University Riley Center is a performing arts and conference center that opened in 2006 in Meridian, Mississippi. We host more than 25 performing arts events as well as over 100 conference events each year. Visit www.msurileycenter.com for more information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and balances all over-the-counter ticket sales.
2. Checks tickets from over-the-counter sales for correctness.
3. Receives telephone credit card ticket orders.
4. Files ticket orders that have been accepted by telephone and mail.
5. Approves ticket orders and enters data into the computer.
6. Approves credit cards for credit card orders.
7. Perform related duties as assigned.
Received: receives supervision from the Ticket Manager.
Given: to student workers
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Two year's of related experience.
Any equivalent combination of related experience and/or education approved by the Department of Human Resources Management.
Education and experience beyond the minimum requirement.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
No or very limited physical effort required.
