The College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University is seeking to hire an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor of Community Veterinary Services, non-tenure track faculty position.

Salary Grade:  UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical responsibilities include providing veterinary care to patients, service to clients, and training to veterinary students as a member of the Community Veterinary Services in the Animal Health Center. The successful candidate is expected to provide leadership to continually improving the program and to mentor students and house officers. Teaching responsibilities include didactic and clinical training for professional and veterinary technology students.

Minimum Qualifications:

DVM or equivalent. A strong work-ethic, managerial experience, and sound leadership are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest and expertise in exotic animal medicine would be preferable. Candidates with experience in large, multi-doctor veterinary hospitals are preferred.
