Position Function:
The primary responsibility will be teaching and advising students in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
Salary Grade: UC
For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in comprehensive and ongoing accreditation processes, including self-
assessment and analysis as well as completion of accreditation documentation
• Coordinate with the OIRE to obtain, analyze and publish data in support of demonstrating
compliance with ARC-PA standards.
• Complete required OIRE reports.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator to evaluate the appropriateness of the instruction,
assessments and outcomes of the clinical phase courses.
• Chair the Assessment Committee to analyze and publish data for self study
• Manage and track PACKRAT and End of Curriculum performance data
• Additional duties and assignments as prescribed by the Assistant Program Director,
Program Director, School Dean, and/or the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
• Coordinate end-of-year PANCE preparation activities.
• Promote the PA program and PA profession to potential students and community
• Onboard new faculty
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an Accredited PA Program.
Preferred Experience of 3 to 5 years as a practicing Physician Assistant.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Mississippi.
Current NCCPA Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Work is primarily in a classroom setting. Some clinical instruction will be required.
Exposure to physical risk and physical effort as expected in a clinical setting.
