Department Profile:

The Department of Psychology is within the College of Arts & Sciences. It houses 25 full time faculty members, 900 undergraduates, and about 45 doctoral students in our Cognitive Science and Clinical Psychology Ph.D. programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The new faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology in their specialty area of psychology. The successful applicant will maintain a program of scholarly research, seek external funding, teach undergraduates and graduate courses, and supervise graduate student research.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an APA or PCSAS accredited program by the time of appointment and be eligible for eventual licensure in Mississippi.
