Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position carries a 3/3 teaching load. The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity and excellence in research and scholarship, engagement with the broader concerns of Religious Studies, experience teaching introductory classes, and a willingness to develop entry-level courses that will attract new majors. Schedule and maintain specific office hours for the purpose of answering student questions and preparing lecturers and other class material.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Religion or related field required by time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous college level teaching experiences; Ph.D. in Religion
