The College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University is seeking a Clinical
Instructor of Equine Medicine and Surgery, non-tenure track faculty position.

Salary Grade:  UC

Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges.  For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical responsibilities include providing veterinary care to patients, service to clients, and training to veterinary students as a member of the Equine Medicine and Surgery Service in the Animal Health Center. The successful candidate is expected to mentor students and house officers and contribute Large Animal Surgery Service in the service at the AHC. This position involves daytime and nighttime clinical service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine. Candidates must be currently in the 3rd year of an ACVS (LA) residency or have completed an ACVS (LA) residency. A strong work ethic is required.
