Mississippi State University Libraries seeks an innovative, dynamic, and team-oriented Digital Archivist. The successful candidate will offer their expertise and guidance to digitize, preserve, and make accessible digitized and born-digital archival collections for the Department of Archives and Special Collections, the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, and the Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position, which reports directly to the Associate Dean of Archives and Special Collections. As a tenure-track faculty member, the Digital Archivist will be expected to demonstrate engagement in the areas of librarianship, scholarship, and service as outlined in the Libraries’ Promotion & Tenure Policy.

Mississippi State University Libraries seeks a Records Manager to maintain records retention schedules for departmental units. Reporting to the University Archivist and working in collaboration with the University Records and Retention committee, the Records Manager serves as the main point of contact for University personnel, providing guidance on records retention, assisting departments with maintenance, storage, and disposition of their physical and digital records as well as planning and implementing a records management training and outreach program on campus.
