Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform research instrument development and validation
· Contribute to qualitative and quantitative data collection
· Develop specific research questions based on data collected
· Conduct relevant literature review and mixed methods data analyses
· Write conference papers, journal articles, and project reports
· Work closely with project faculty and staff
· Travel for site visits and conference presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

· PhD in science education or relevant education field
· Quantitative and mixed methods background
· Proficiency in statistical analysis packages (e.g., SAS, R)
· Proficiency in factor analysis and multilevel modeling
· Evidence of scholarly activities (e.g., research projects, publications, conference presentations)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience working with educational professionals as part of a research project
· Strong ethics and commitment to high-quality research
