Position Function:

Serve in a support role for the Bulldog Club annual giving team. This individual will provide our donor base and stakeholders with exceptional customer service and efficient communication. This position will be instrumental in executing a more robust storytelling and plan including constant content creation and management for multi-channel campaigns including but not limited to msubulldogclub.com, email, text messages, direct mail and social media. This position will report to the Associate Athletic Director of Annual Giving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create successful mass solicitation segmentation strategies and customer journeys.
• Conceptualize effective communications pieces with a strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Implement and execute effective integrated multi-channel direct mail, social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative information to improve decision-making and outcomes.
• Grow a data-driven annual giving program to increase contributions over year-to-year goal
• Work with reporting partners to produce data analytics tools.
• Effectively communicate with internal partners of the Bulldog Club such as Fan Experience, Digital Marketing, Communications, Ticket Sales & Operations and Coaching Staffs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field with one or two years of experience in annual giving, sales or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree and 3+ years of fundraising experience at an NCAA institution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• This role is an integral member of the Bulldog Club that must show strong oral and written communication skills.
• Actively listen to internal and external stakeholders.
• Articulate a strong and compelling case for support through oral and written communication.
• Interpersonal skills that support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Demonstrate patience, positivity, conflict management, compassion, flexibility, collaboration and reliability.
• Manage time to be efficient, productive, diligent and execute complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with Paciolan and Eloqua.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Frequent external imposed deadlines set and revised beyond one’s control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis.
• Occasionally requires lifting, bending, or other physical exertion. Often, it involves exposure to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dirt, chemicals, etc.
• Job frequently requires walking, standing, lifting, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands.
• Requires handling of heavy weight objects up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis and on occasion up to 150 lbs.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
