Position Function:

An Assistant or Associate Professor in Accounting is sought for a tenure-track position beginning Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting. All academic levels and disciplines will be considered. Other responsibilities include participating in professional activities and advising students.

Salary Grade:  UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Major duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, publishing high quality scholarly research, advising and mentoring students.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires an accounting doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution and demonstrated excellence in the field of accountancy. Professional Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to minimum qualifications, online teaching and professional experience are desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ability to provide academic leadership. Effective interpersonal skills to interact with, engage and inspire students, faculty, staff and others. Effective organization and administrative skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, nearly all work is performed in comfortable indoor facility.
