Position Function:

The Nursing Student Enrollment Director serves as the primary coordinator for student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and student-facing communications within the School of Nursing. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining prospective student pipelines, supporting applicants through the admissions process, coordinating recruitment and outreach activities, managing admissions and enrollment workflows, and collaborating with faculty and staff to support student matriculation and success. This position serves as a key point of contact for prospective students and applicants and helps ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry through enrollment. The role works closely with university partners, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to advance enrollment goals and support the continued growth of the School of Nursing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Outreach

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to support enrollment goals across School of Nursing academic programs.
Represent the School of Nursing at recruitment events, college fairs, information sessions, community events, professional meetings, and other outreach activities.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective students, community colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and other recruitment partners.
Coordinate and facilitate on-campus and virtual recruitment events, information sessions, open houses, and student engagement activities.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university partners to identify and develop recruitment pipelines that support enrollment growth.
Assist with development and dissemination of promotional materials, recruitment communications, and program information.
Admissions and Enrollment Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, program options, and enrollment processes.
Coordinate admissions-related activities and workflows, including application review processes, applicant communications, and admissions tracking.
Manage and maintain NursingCAS and other admissions-related systems and processes as assigned.
Monitor applicant progress through the admissions funnel and conduct timely follow-up to support application completion and enrollment.
Collaborate with university offices to ensure efficient processing of admissions, registration, financial aid, and enrollment-related matters.
Provide unofficial transcript reviews and general guidance regarding prerequisite and admission requirements as appropriate.
Student Communication and Program Navigation
Maintain regular communication with prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
Assist students in understanding program pathways, admission requirements, timelines, and available resources.
Serve as a liaison connecting prospective and newly admitted students with faculty, advisors, and program leadership as appropriate.
Support new student onboarding, orientation, and transition-to-enrollment activities.
Coordinate communications designed to improve student engagement, enrollment yield, and retention.
Data Management and Enrollment Analytics
Develop and maintain databases and systems that track prospective students, applicants, admissions outcomes, enrollment activity, and recruitment efforts.
Monitor recruitment, admissions, and enrollment metrics and prepare reports as requested.
Maintain accurate records of recruitment contacts, communications, applications, admissions decisions, and enrollment outcomes.
Utilize data to support continuous improvement of recruitment and enrollment processes.
Collaboration and Program Support
Work collaboratively with program directors, faculty, university enrollment personnel, marketing staff, and other stakeholders to support School of Nursing enrollment goals.
Assist in developing communication plans, publications, and outreach initiatives that support program visibility and student recruitment.
Participate in strategic planning and implementation activities related to recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and student success.
Support special projects and initiatives that advance the mission and growth of the School of Nursing.
Perform other duties as assigned.

DECISION MAKING / GUIDELINES
This role requires limited decision making and fiscal responsibilities.

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
This role does not require supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Two years of experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, student services, marketing, communications, customer service, higher education administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in higher education recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or student services.
Experience with graduate admissions processes.
Experience using CRM, enrollment management, or applicant tracking systems.
Experience with NursingCAS or similar centralized application systems.
Experience developing and implementing recruitment and communication plans.
Experience working with nursing, healthcare, or professional academic programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with prospective students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze and utilize enrollment and recruitment data to support decision-making.
Knowledge of customer relationship management and student engagement principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
