The Chemistry Department is housed in Hand Laboratory and is part of the College of Arts & Sciences, offering B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. The Department has approximately 65 graduate students and 160 undergraduate majors. Additional information is available at

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach the equivalent of 12 credit hours per semester in Chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must have a PhD in Chemistry or related area. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.

ABDs or degree pending considered (all but DISS):


Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants with prior teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
