Provide editorial support to develop technical writing skills during the didactic phase of the Physician Assistant Studies student, including coaching to identify and revise individual writing weaknesses and teach two English classes per semester for Arts & Sciences Division.
Assist with A&S student advisement and division service responsibilities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

. Develop and implement a professional writing bootcamp for first semester Physician Assistant Studies student, including introduction to AMA style guide.
2. Develop and implement requirements of professional digital presentations for second semester Physician Assistant Studies students, utilizing AMA style guide.
3. Provide editorial support to develop technical writing skills during the didactic phase of the Physician Assistant Studies student, including coaching to identify and revise individual writing weaknesses.
4. Collaborate with course instructors of writing assignments regarding expectations and rubric application.
5. Collaborate with course instructors and advisors of students regarding student performance on writing assignments.
6. Provide editorial support to develop technical writing skills during the clinical phase of the Physician Assistant Studies program, including collaboration with instructional faculty graders.
7. Intermittently meet with the Program Director of the Physician Assistant Studies Program to assess effectiveness and steps for improvement of the administrative support.
8. Teach two English classes per semester for Arts & Sciences Division
9. Assist with A&S student advisement and division service responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

MA in English; 3 years college-level teaching experience; certification to tutor writing.

Experience in higher education
