The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in Veterinary Clinical Pathology. The position is in the Diagnostic Laboratory Services (DLS) section in the Department of Pathobiology and Population Medicine. The DLS is a part of the AAVLD fully accredited Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Laboratory System, which has laboratories at three sites in Mississippi.

Salary Grade:  UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include clinical pathology service and teaching in the DVM program. It is expected that this position will allocate approximately 80% time to clinical service activities and 20% time to teaching and teaching associated service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include a DVM or equivalent with completion of a clinical pathology residency. Collegiality and excellent communication skills are required. The ability to attain licensure (faculty or traditional licensure) in Mississippi is required. The successful candidate will work directly with faculty, in-house clinicians, and referring veterinarians.

Preferred Qualifications:

ACVP board certification in clinical pathology is preferred but is not required.
