An Assistant Teaching Professor in Accounting is sought for a non-tenure track position beginning Fall 2026. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting including the accounting course in the MBA program (online and face-to-face).

Salary Grade:  UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Major duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising and mentoring students.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires an accounting doctorate and CPA license.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to minimum qualifications, five years of college teaching experience (face-to-face and online) and five years of non-academic experience are preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ability to provide academic leadership. Effective interpersonal skills to interact with, engage and inspire students, faculty, staff and others. Effective organization and administrative skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, nearly all work is performed in comfortable indoor facility.
