This position is a joint position between the Office of the Registrar and the University Committee on Courses and Curricula; it reports to the Coordinator for Curriculum and Scheduling but works closely with the Chairperson of the University Course and Curriculum Committee. The position contributes, in support of the Coordinator of Curriculum and Scheduling, to the editing, updating, and publication of the University’s annual undergraduate catalog. The position is the designated administrator of and contact for the course and curriculum inventory system with the primary responsibility of tracking and processing changes in undergraduate and graduate courses and degree programs in support of the UCCC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works with the Coordinator of Curriculum and Scheduling to update, maintain, and publish
the undergraduate Catalog.
2. Serves as administrator for the course and curriculum inventory system.
3. Coordinates with other Registrar staff to implement course and curricula changes in the
student information system database and degree audit software.
4. Works with the Coordinator of Curriculum & Scheduling and the Assistant Coordinator to
manage the Banner bridge of information from the course management software.
5. Compiles and publishes a) University Course and Curriculum Activity Log; b) UCCC
meeting agendas and associated documentation for monthly committee meetings; c)
committee meeting minutes, d) Monthly course and Curriculum Reports to the Academic
Deans Council, and e) updates the UCCC website.
6. Conducts training sessions with faculty and departments for the development of course
and program proposal submissions to the University Course and Curriculum Committee.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience (yrs.) 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in an academic setting that includes project planning and management, training design and implementation, and extensive communication with various groups would be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated computer software skills, which include Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to use and manipulate a database. Excellent human relations and effective communication skills are also required. Must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
• No or very limited physical effort required.
