Position Function:

The Visiting Professor will provide leadership, coordination, and support for the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) project in collaboration with the SOCSD. This position will assist with the implementation, evaluation, training, and overall management of project activities while supporting research, data collection, and stakeholder engagement. The Visiting Professor will work closely with faculty, school personnel, and project staff to ensure successful execution of project goals and objectives.

Salary Grade:  UC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Coordinate and support PBIS project activities in collaboration with SOCSD and university personnel.
2.Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of PBIS-related initiatives and interventions.
3.Conduct training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities for educators and stakeholders.
4.Collect, organize, and analyze project-related data and prepare reports as needed.
5.Support research activities related to PBIS implementation and outcomes.
6.Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure project goals and deliverables are met.
7.Assist with grant-related documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance activities.
8.Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and project reviews.
9.Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including school personnel and university leadership.
10.Perform other duties as assigned in support of the PBIS project.
11.Teach as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD degree in Education, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Experience working with K-12 schools, educational programs, or behavioral intervention initiatives.
Experience with project coordination, training, or educational program implementation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks and practices.
Knowledge of educational research methods and data collection procedures.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to present information clearly in both individual and group settings.
