This position is under the supervision of the Associate Director of Career Services and Programs of the Career Center. The position provides counseling, coaching, and major/career exploration programs as it relates to the undecided student population and any other assigned student populations. Interpreting career assessments, such as the Strong Interest Inventory and Typefocus, will be a standard part of this role. Additional tasks include teaching a Career and Life Planning Course, coordinating Orientation involvement on behalf of the Career Center, and working collaboratively with campus-wide and academic departments to help students decide on an academic major. In addition, this role will supervise and train a Graduate Teaching Assistant and supervise the Career Ambassadors.
