Responsible for planning and managing program evaluation protocols and organizing, collecting, storing, analyzing, and maintaining evaluation data integrity and security for reporting to internal and external stakeholders for MSU Extension and MAFES projects.

Salary Grade:  13

July 2024. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for management of data systems including data analysis and reporting using various software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and other data software systems.

2. Development, modification, implementation, and maintenance of evaluation protocols and data systems for program monitoring and evaluation, including those for qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

3. Collaborate on the development of grant proposals and dissemination of reports, publications, and presentations for multiple stakeholders shared through various outlets, such as social media, brochures, academic journals, and conference proceedings.

4. Provide training and technical assistance to project faculty and staff on data collection and management protocols and procedures.

5. Optimize tools and processes, analyze data for errors, and make analytical decisions based upon existing policies and procedures.

6. Ensure that precise and high-quality data, data security, and confidentiality are maintained.

7. Any other duties as assigned to execute projects to fidelity.

Supervisory Responsibility
May be responsible for training, assisting or assigning tasks to others.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree with a focus in Education, Educational Psychology, Extension Education, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
2. Previous experience in the development, delivery, and evaluation of Extension programs and/or MAFES projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to plan and manage program evaluation protocols and organizing, collecting, storing, analyzing, and maintaining evaluation data integrity and security for reporting to internal and external stakeholders for MSU Extension and MAFES projects.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.

Externally imposed deadlines; set and revised beyond one's control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; may involve conflict-resolution or similar interactions.

Job frequently requires sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.

Job occasionally requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Ability to see information in print and/or electronically, ability to distinguish colors.
