Candidates with strengths in sensing, analytics, and/or robotics, particularly with a view to autonomous systems for precision agriculture and/or post-harvest processing, are preferred. Applicants should be able to articulate a prospective research program that has promise for sustainable external funding and national recognition. The candidate is expected to incorporate innovative strategies and techniques for sustainable design in studio and lecture courses at the undergraduate level, including energy modeling, building performance simulation, innovative use of materials, and construction techniques, among others. The successful candidate will also play a prominent role in the planned graduate program.
